Many couples
like to have an engagment photo for mailing with, before, or as the invitations,
posting to their wedding website, or having guests sign
at the wedding.
At Make Weddings, this portrait session is included in our unique pricing plan. In addition, we include both a 10X13 enlargement with your choice of text below printed 20X24 photo paper and mounted for your guests to sign. As well as your choice of invitation or thank you cards printed and mailed for you to all of your wedding guests.
While not everyone sends out engagement photos anymore, most still enjoy having this image as a special moment to remember. Some people like to use a special picture that one of their friends took for this purpose. While we don't discourage that at all, we do believe engagement photos with your wedding photographer are a good idea. The reason is that this gives you and the photographer a chance to interact ahead of the wedding and for both of us to get a better feel for the other. It also is an opportunity for you to get used to being the spotlight and leads to more relaxed portraits on your actual wedding day.
