Wedding DJ Services

Make Weddings offers dj services for both your wedding ceremony and your reception.

On your wedding day, you count on Make Weddings to use high quality, dependable equipment, play the right music, and make your announcements just the way you requested. That much is required. However, a great DJ will offer you much more than this. At Make Weddings, we typically spend 20 hours preparing for every wedding we DJ with services such as:

First appointment: We go over your ceremony and reception to clarify your vision for your wedding and make sure that I know about any specific desires or dislikes you might have. This appointment also gives us an opportunity to get a sense of each other and to address any questions you may have.
Site visit: We go together to the actual wedding site(s) to discuss the layout and any special equipment issues that may emerge. We also go over the timeline and try to anticipate any possible problems.
Second appointment: At this time we'll go over your specific requests for each song during your wedding and help you choose any you haven't picked yet. We'll also go over your timeline again. This appointment can be through email or over the phone if you prefer.
Music research: We locate your special requests, purchase any that we are missing, and identify a range of music to suit your tastes. We make up a list of which songs are to be played at which times, along with any other special instructions.
Create custom backup CD's: We put all of your special songs onto CD(s) in order to safely insure that we have a backup for what is most important to you. After the wedding, we give you these CD's as a memento of your wedding day.
Wedding ceremony rehearsal: If we are providing the ceremony music for your wedding, we come with you to your rehearsal to make sure the timeline is planned out perfectly and everyone knows their cues.
Setup & takedown at ceremony and/or reception: It generally takes us about an hour to setup and another to takedown on your wedding day.
Performance at the ceremony and/or reception: In addition to playing your music and providing full MC services if desired, we also provide full event coordination as needed on your wedding day.
