DJ Ceremony Services
We typically provide music while your guests arrive, your
special requests for songs to walk down the aisle, and for
recessional music. For help in choosing these songs we can provide you with
lists of suggestions or you can get them for yourself in the DJ
planning guide on our
website.
For the ceremony itself we offer 3 different types of microphones
to make your vows
audible by all.
- We have a lavalier microphone which is the kind that has a small
element which can clip to a jacket or shirt and has a beltpack which transmits
the signal to our DJ booth. This kind of microphone is great for picking
up the minister during your ceremony and has the least visual impact on your
ceremony.
- We also have a regular wireless microphone which is great
for speeches by parents, special songs by friends or relatives and similiar
times when you again don't want to have a microphone stand somewhere that
people have to go walk up to and stand behind. We don't recommend this microphone
for the bride's and grooms use during the ceremony.
- Third we have a corded
microphone. On the downside this means placing a stand somewhere
and having a taped down cord leading to the equipment. On the upside
this is the best mic for picking up sound from everyone. This mic can
be placed on a stand at waist level and pick up the minister, the bride
and groom and anyone else within proximity. It will also amplify things
like the glass getting crushed underfoot at Jewish weddings or the
ringbearer handing over the wedding rings. This is our most highly
recommended microphone although the lavalier is probably the most commonly
used at the ceremony.
