Photography Planning

Planning the photographs can be very simple if you want it to be or very complicated. If you want to go the easy route please print this photography planning form and simply fill it out along with the wedding planning form and you'll be all set. What you'll get is a wide variety of our great images and you can decide on any enlargements or albums after the wedding. This is a great way to go as it will also give us the freedom to feel out what wil be the best images during the day instead of trying to force certain images.

If you prefer to have more control in the matter then read on... Depending on what you think you'll want after the wedding, you might want to request that we shoot with a particular format or special type of film or take certain kinds of images. So the best way to go about this is for you to read and answer the list of questions below. I'll be happy to walk you through anything you'd like clarified. There are NO stupid questions, so please don't hold back. (For example, don't know what a magazine style album means? It refers to a photo album that's put together digitally allowing more images per page arranged in more creative ways and with more design elements. It's then printed onto photographic paper and flush mounted into an album creating a beautiful and unique album of your wedding. See a sample magazine album in our gallery.)

To ensure that we take all the photographs you want, in the right format for your preferences and purposes, I'll need to know the answers to the following questions:

• Do you have a preference between film and digital photography?
• Do you want color, black and white, sepia, hand colored or a combination?
• Do you want shots of the whole wedding day including getting ready before the wedding and putting on the dress etc.?
• Do you primarily want pictures of you, your family and the wedding party? Or would you like a lot of candid pictures of everyone in attendance? (We always take some, just not alot unless it's what you specifically want.)
• Whom do you want included in your formal portraits? In what groupings? (We recommend taking some time to make an exact list, so we can arrange things to minimize the time that people have to wait.)
• What kind of album do you want for you and your fiance? (magazine style or traditional.)
• Do you want any kind of parent albums?
• Do you want a full printed proof set of your wedding or would you rather just order the specific pictures that you want?
• Do you want a digital set of prints for emailing to your friends and relatives?
• Also please print and fill out the wedding planning form and photography planning form.
