DJ Planning Guide

The DJ is usually the person most responsible for keeping your wedding running smoothly and on schedule. Since what I do as your DJ is inherently tied to every other event on your wedding day, I like to go over your vision for your wedding very carefully with you. We need to find out what is important to you and how you want your wedding day to flow. That's why I recommend that you start by filling out all the information you can on the Wedding Planning Form and DJ Planning Form, after which we can discuss anything you're not clear about together and determine how best to create the wedding you want.

In addition to the timeline and tone you want for your wedding, you'll also want to communicate your music preferences to me. You can develop a list of Must Play, Play if Possible and Do not Play songs by using the searchable music database. I'll also ask you which genres of music you prefer and who your favorite artists are, so you'll be sure to hear just the right kind of mix on your wedding day. Below are some resources I've found that might help you in choosing specific songs. Mobile Beat's lists are from national polls, The Ultimate Wedding Guide's lists are from their website. Neither list necessarily represents what's in my collection although I shouldn't have a problem obtaining anything I don't currently have.
